Shear Pace is a sheep shearing productivity app which is focussed on improving tallies by eliminating the need for the shearer to think about their time.

The Shear Pace App is a productivity tool for sheep shearers, eliminating the need for both the tally counter and clock.  It takes care of the maths, giving ongoing and constant feedback in relation to shearing speed as well as tallies and run time. You do goal setting once at the beginning of the day, and you can focus on your technique and therefore, speed, knowing that the app is keeping track of everything else.

How it works - look at your sheep, decide on your goal tally, tap in the day length, and Shear Pace will tell you how fast you need to go per sheep. Tap the screen after every sheep as you would a tally counter, and it counts your tally as well as keeping track of your speed for every sheep - this leaves you free to think about your technique, and not working out how many you did in the last quarter hour.

The upgrade version "Shear Pace - Shed Version", which allows you to work out how fast you need to shear for a full day tally is available for purchase, and you are also able to purchase a monthly subscription "Ringer Version" for $4.99 allows you to save and review your data. If you do not have this subscription, this data will be lost.

Added in version 1.05:
Now you know youve hit the button, weve added a two second purple flash when the screen is tapped for tally - thanks to Gavin Kelly for the inspiration.
The "Tahi Hoera loooong run option" has been added for longer runs and especially for your shearing pleasure - or just so you can cut out earlier!

Added in version 1.1.0:
The "Keep your greasy paws off the screen" update - a way to keep your phone clean, with the Flic Wireless Button support added in (get yours at https://flic.io?r=981fc0). You use this button as the tally counter instead of the screen - magic! Thanks to Lachie Baynes for this idea. Single click is for tally, double click to cut out and hold the button to end the run.

I want this to be a great app, so please if you have any queries or ideas for improvements, please contact me via the contact page in the app.
